Paul understood that if one has the hope of
heaven, this does not mean that Hope will automatically happen. Its not until the
Tribulation of the Birth-pangs are endured that his hope was
secure.
Think about it. Paul was blinded by Christ
Himself...he heard his voice...he had visions...he had the heavenly hope. Even
though he had all this from Christ, did Paul think he was automatically sealed
into His heavenly Hope...just because he was Anointed? No!
He understood Christ words spoken to His 11 in Matt
24:8 and Mark 13:8,that Anointed must be Born into Gods Kingdom through "great
tribulation" caused by "BIRTH-pangs".. Being "Born" means going through the
"tribulations" of the Birth-pangs. All anointed must go through the "many
tribulations" which are caused by the
Birth-pangs. Matt 24:8,Mark 13:8.
